| Forged Pontiac 400 and 455 Cranks and Competition Assemblies Are Here! | | Eagle is pleased to announce the availability of forged 4340 steel crankshafts for Pontiac 400 and 455 applications. These cranks feature the same strength and performance you've come to expect from Eagle. All are forged from 4340 steel in a non-twist forging. They are treated with a multi-stage heat treatment process, shot-peened, and nitrided for superior strength and wear resistance. Each journal is polished to a 3 R.A. or better on Eagle state-of-the-art QPAC micropolisher. A .125" fillet radius is used on every journal so chamfered or narrowed bearings must be used.
